Opus Clip | Cut, Clip, Captivate
Opus Clip trims your content to viral perfection with the finesse of a film editor.
OK, this is ah-maze-ing.
The nutshell: OpusClip will chop up a longer video into smaller videos.
Sounds simple enough but here's the magic. Using AI, of course, it strategically chooses where to clip the video. It will give you 10 or 20 clips and you can go through them, choose what you like, and, if they're perfect as is, download them or share them to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or X.
There's also a built-in scheduler so you can even post-date your clips.
But that's not even the best part. Or best parts.
You can edit the clip, in real time, chop out a bit and it will remove it from the transcript (oh, did I mention it does subtitles/captions?) and from the video. Uh, hello difficult task in any video editing tool.
You can also add emojis to the transcript and recently you have the option to add AI-created B-Roll (so GIFs and videos) to the video. You can then place that B-Roll where you like in your clip.
Did I mention this is FREE? (Well, for a certain number of credits per day.)
They had a smoking deal for a year so I jumped on it and went PRO.
This video shows how I took a 34-minute video and created shorts from it.
Enjoy!
You can start with your own free OpusClip account here.
Before we begin: THIS is the end goal
Here's an example of what we're shooting for here: a YouTube Short that links/leads to a full-length YouTube video directly from the link in the YT Short.
PRO TIP: Because, no, you can't create a link to anything from within your YT Short otherwise.
